      LILSI continues to compile an inventory of life sciences related education/training programs currently available at Long Island institutions. Such an inventory of programs is meant to be useful for recruiting purposes, as well as to students looking for educational opportunities in the life sciences.

Life Sciences Career Catalog
     LILSI is working to establish a listing of life sciences positions available in industry that includes job titles, job responsibilities, required education and training, salary ranges, and opportunities for career ladder advancements. Importantly, the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) has made funding available to map career ladders in the life sciences, identifying training gaps and outlining opportunities to utilize transferable skills.
